Electric motor
Components Required: - Rotor
- Stator
- Windings
- Commutator
- Air brushs
In an electric motor moving part is the
rotor. This rotor is turns shaft to
delivered the mechanical power. Some rotors
carry a permanent magnets, the stator holds the conductors.
stator:
The stator is the stationary
parts It has either windings or permanent magnets. The stator have the
electromagnetic circuits. The makeup of the stator is called as the laminations.
windings:
Windings is the wires that are in coils. Around a
wrapped into laminated by soft magnetic core so, the permanent magnets poles
when energized in current.
Commutator:
Commutator is the mechanism which input
the certain alternating current or direct current machines of slip ring.
Air brushes:
IN BETWEEN THE ROTOR AND STATOR IS THE AIR GAP. AS A LARGE GAP HAS A STRONG NEGATIVE EFFECT ON THE PERFORMANCE OF AN ELECTRIC MOTOR.
